New issue of The Professional Mountaineer now out

Another good read, obviously winter themed issue but I was particularly taken with the article by Glen Cousquer on pack mule welfare. Lots of good stuff about kit and a great article by Alun Richardson on realistic eating backed up with some good science. As a fan of the Snickers bar I feel reassured by his advice.
The role of the technical advisor was explored by Rob Pugh as well as other legal stuff from an associate at Perkins and Slade – very useful to know. As was the first aid kit info from the renowned Dr Hillebrandt.
As well as this an article on shoulders by me.
